NAA 2017 will focus on the mechanisms, assessment and management of high blood pressure and vascular dysfunction ‘beyond the clinic’. The major Symposia will focus on controversies and methodologies in measurement of clinic and ambulatory brachial and central blood pressure and arterial stiffness, sleep and vascular risk, methodology and treatment of cerebrovascular dysfunction and cognitive impairment, autonomic regulation of blood pressure, endothelial function and arterial stiffness, racial disparities and vascular risk and response to exercise. This year’s popular debate will feature the topic of masked hypertension is/is not associated with increased cardiovascular disease risk. We will also welcome for the first time our colleagues from the Latin American Artery Working Group for a special symposium. The meeting will continue to feature oral and poster abstract presentations by young investigators as an integral part of the Annual Meeting. We will also have keynote lectures by international leaders in the field including the history of, and contemporary use of arterial stiffness and central hemodynamics in assessment and treatment of vascular risk. New this year are an increased number of oral abstract presentations and practical hands-on demonstrations given by sponsoring firms such as yours.
Our sessions and exhibit hall, located in larger and newer meeting space on the west side of the UIC campus, will be hubs of discussion, with opportunities to network with academic and practicing physicians as well as clinical scientists and other professionals from the United States, Central and South America, Canada, Europe, and Asia, while visiting with firms displaying their new technologies, devices, and pharmaceutical products.
We encourage you to help make the NAA 2017 Annual Meeting a valuable and successful experience by actively taking part in the education of the participants while supporting our efforts to raise awareness of the importance of arterial and aortic stiffness as it relates to cardiovascular risk.
As a sponsor of the NAA Seventh Annual Meeting your organization is afforded the opportunity to build its business and visibility by communicating to leading researchers and clinicians with an interest in arterial hemodynamics.
Sponsoring and exhibiting at NAA 2017 is an ideal opportunity to meet with over 100 professionals in an intimate setting not available in larger, more diffuse meetings, to learn what is new in the field, and promote the mission of your company, all while supporting education and the dissemination of information to a focused group of medical professionals.
