    We will be extending the deadline for abstract submission! The new deadline is 11:59 PM on Friday, April 13, 2018. You can access submission guidelines with the updated deadline here: Call for Abstracts 2018

    Online registration is now open for the Eighth Annual Meeting. Please visit the main NAA 2018 page HERE to register early!

    Abstracts for the Eighth Annual Meeting are now being accepted. We invite you to submit your abstracts dealing with clinical research, experimental studies, epidemiology, biomechanical, methodological, and genetic research related to large artery structure and function for oral or poster presentation.  The presentation of data at this meeting will provide the opportunity for scientific interaction and discussion with the audience. The deadline for submission of abstracts is Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:59 PM.This year, we will be able to accept online abstract submissions. Click here for more information.

    North American Artery has changed the date of its Annual Meeting so that it will now take place from June 15 - June 16, 2018. The members of the Board of Directors and Program Committee believe that this change will support increased participation in its Annual Meeting and exposure for our sponsor partners.  

    Once again our Conference Co-Sponsor, the University of Illinois at Chicago will host the Eighth Annual Meeting on its west campus. More information and updates will become available soon.

    NEW MEETING DATES FOR NAA 2017 - May 19-20, 2017

    North American Artery has changed the pattern of its Annual Meeting so that it will now take place in late May each year.  The dates became available after the American Society of Hypertension announced that it will no longer host a stand-alone meeting, which took place during this time for the past 31 years. The members of the Board of Directors and Program Committee believe that this change will support increased participation in its Annual Meeting and exposure for our sponsor partners.  

    Once again our Conference Co-Sponsor, the University of Illinois at Chicago will host the Seventh Annual Meeting on its campus.

    The Sixth Annual Meeting will take place September 8-10, 2016 in Chicago, IL.  This year's meeting is co-sponsored by the University of Illinois-Chicago and will take place on UIC's campus in the Student Center East facility.  5 at the Chicago Marriott O'Hare. The theme of this year's meeting is Arterial Dysfunction in Cardiometabolic Disorders: Advances in Mechanisms, Diagnosis and Treatment.  Click here for further information.

    -- A new resource in attacking a major health care problem—hypertension

    NEW YORK, May 27, 2015 -- A panel of researchers and clinicians from leading medical centers has published recommendations on the use of noninvasive central (aortic) blood pressure data in the Journal of Clinical Hypertension. The article, "Clinical Usage of Pulse Wave Analysis," reports the proceedings of a symposium sponsored by North American Artery.
